West Ham & Bournemouth register interest in Max Gradel

According to our colleagues at But! Football Club, West Ham United and Bournemouth have positioned themselves over the possibility of signing St Etienne's Max Alain Gradel.

Gradel, who is believed to want a move to England this summer, has during a previous transfer window been very close to signing for the Hammers before. More undoubtedly to follow.

Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye wanted by a host of Premier League clubs
The Senegalese international is valued at £7million by the French club
Southampton could replace Morgan Schneiderlin with Gueye this summer

By Simon Jones

Southampton, West Ham and Crystal Palace have asked about £7m-rated Lille midfielder Idrissa Gueye.

Idrissa Gueye (right) is being chased by Southampton, West Ham and Crystal Palace over a potential move

Gueye was one of the stand-out performers for the French side as they finished in a respectable eighth place.

The Senegalese international is also wanted by teams in France as the race for his signature hots up.

The Saints are thought to be looking for midfield replacements with Morgan Schneiderlin confirming he would like to move to a team playing Champions League football.

Without a manager, it would seem difficult for West Ham to be able to strike a quick deal until they get someone at the helm.

Alan Pardew is likely to invest heavily in the summer and with Mile Jedinak attracting interest - a move for Gueye would seem likely.

Bundesliga target wanted by Porto, Monaco and Chelsea

West Ham are facing competition for Stuttgart's Antonio Rudiger from Monaco, Porto and a mystery English club that could be Chelsea.

Rudiger's agent announced on Thursday that the player is aware of several interested clubs - the latest being Portuguese giants Porto who have made a concrete offer for the 22-year-old German international.

West Ham are also in the mix for his signature if Stuttgart, who narrowly avoided relegation from the Bundesliga, agree to sell.

Agent Benjamin Ippoliti told Calciomercato: "Many teams came to us to learn something more about Antonio. But whoever wants to buy him will have to speak to Stuttgart.

If they decide not to sell, like last year, it will continue. "Juventus interested? I can not confirm because I have not received any information about it. But I can say we were approached by FC Porto, Monaco, West Ham and another English team."
Chelsea could be the other English club that Ippoliti mentioned as they have been linked with a 7million bid by the Stuttgarter Zeitung newspaper on Friday, although the German club are expected to hold out for at least £8million.

Re: The Transfer Rumours Thread
I honestly can't see us having a CB as any sort of high priority, unless the new manager wants to change the squad, or perhaps replace Collins for someone younger. With Burke looking like a decent choice for fourth choice, and with Henry coming back from injury and Oxford hoping to get some time off the bench occasionally.
